Case Study: Biomedical Research Tower at The Ohio State University

OSU Biomedical Research TowerLocated on The Ohio State University campus their world-class Biomedical Research Tower stands 12 stories tall and is dedicated to Biomedical Research. Accelerated relocated all of the laboratories in the 403,000 sq ft. facility. We created and coordinated a compressive move plan which involved facilitating Manufacture Reps, EH&S and others to facilitate this high profile relocation. The move involved electromagnets, numerous Newport optic tables, BSC’s, mass specs, LC’s, GC’s, and microscopes, etc. We segregated, packed, relocated and unpacked all of the chemicals. We moved all of the -80c, -20c, and 4c units (including 2 and 3 door Deli units powered and at temperature throughout the move. Also moved 12 LN freezers, numerous LN Dewars, and freezers. This move was done on time, on schedule and on-budget. Most importantly these moves had no losses on this relocation, a trademark of Accelerated.
