Case Study: Mayo Clinic

When Mayo Clinic, a worldwide leader in medical care, research and education needed a qualified company to handle their laboratory specimen and drug facility relocation needs, they reached out to Accelerated to help develop a comprehensive move program. Accelerated has conducted moves for the Mayo clinic in their Rochester and Phoenix locations.

 

Highlights:

Mayo Phoenix — Relocated Mayo Drug facility into their new facility from Phoenix to provide generator trucks and dedicated crew to move all of their drug specimens and sample including all of their refrigerator, and laboratory equipment, and freezers. We provided a detailed temperature printout to verify that the temperature of the Drugs, Refrigerators and Freezers were maintained throughout the entire relocation.

Mayo Rochester — We relocated 190 -80c freezers and 8 LN freezers of world-wide specimen from multiple sites within Rochester and relocated them to their new state-of-the-art freezer farm. We were able to move and monitor the multiple 110V and 220V needs with our generator trucks utilizing lift gates. Many of the locations did not have height docks. All of the units were moved without loss (including 10+Kelvinator units) on time and on budget.
